To be fair though, there's a lot of overlap between Dungeons And Dragons - one is an expensive scam that's only really lapped up by spods with more money than sense that decent human beings go out of their way to avoid and the other is a tabletop RPG.

Can't imagine most gamers being bothered to pay money to use a new, bespoke (and probably buggy) system, when there are loads of perfectly good ones already, which they can play with the rulebooks and such they already own. Artwork is hardly the thing which draws most players in.

As mentoned in the article, about the only roleplayers it will attract are the powergamer variety, who bend the rules to max out their characters.
