It's a sad indictment of our species, but many (most?) large organisations seem to have corruption engrained at the top of their hierarchies. Something to do with that which floats I think and, I suppose, inevitable in a competition and profit-led system rather than a co-operative and need-led one.

Unfortunately we live in an essentially finite system.
