Here's some interesting stats 00:33 - Dec 30 with 1087 views | TalkingBlues | Only one team in the league has scored more goals than us in the last 30 minutes of games (Plymouth - who have scored well over half of their season total goals in this period) but only 8 teams have conceded more in the last 30 minutes than us (all of our main rivals have conceded a lot fewer in this period of the game). It certainly feels that when our opponents put the pressure on we look shakey (especially the lobbed ball into the box) and these stats lend some credence to that assertion. However, is it due to weakness in the defence, or due to the fact that we might be pushing forward a bit too recklessly on tired legs, when we should perhaps seek to solidify what is quite often a winning position? Or something else entirely? Definitely not an enviable stat. [Post edited 30 Dec 2022 9:59]

Also giving away very cheap freekicks which allow the opposition a chance to lump the ball in to our box and play from the second ball. Is that Burns now giving away needless freekicks that have resulted in goals against Pompey, Wednesday and Charlton? | | | |
