Some people will no doubt embarrass themselves tonight with a complete overreaction. None of those players have played together and that was obvious, the possession was good without playing the ball forwards at pace in to the areas to cause danger. Phillips was alright, Townsend was decent. Unfortunately Chaplin and Burgess stand out as being poor performances, not sure if the latter's confidence has been knocked. Other than that Johnson was poor again. All the others looked ok.
It's disappointing because this will maybe dent their confidence a little bit when it might have given us a boost with a comfortable win. Also miss the chance to get more games in to the new players.

With Schwartz coming over to supposedly negotiate a new contract, do we think that money is the defining factor? Or could our owners be looking to sell him the dream of their plans and what this club could be? If it's in comparison with a job offer from utd. I don't think there is much we can do, but I wonder if reassuring him that the owners are committed to a massive project here, one which would supersede Brighton, would be more important to him than the money.
He might just want to ensure that his stock continues to rise rather than being tarnished with a relegation. (Before anyone says it, what happened with Kompany is a complete anomaly) |

If the charges are proven, what kind of punishment will that result in?! Surely the Premier League can't be seen to have match fixing and will make an example of him? Really significant ban / End of his career? I don't know if I'm overreacting but it feels like that should be a massive story.

If the budgies don't make it to the prem this season, I'd like to see us stay completely away from him. Championship Scott Fraser, his set piece delivery must be incredible, because in open play, he's been bang average every time I've seen him. Sainz and Rowe could possibly do a job though. |

No criticism of individuals or the team. Just the way the game panned out it was a very very big opportunity and we let it slip. There are no easy games in this division, especially at this stage and dropping 2 points could really be crucial. I know they're basically down but Huddersfield could be a real problem. Hopefully just 1 more week ir nervousness, excitement, permutations and limited sleep! |

I think the idea we struggle with them was shut down but how many 12.30 games have we played and what's our points return from them this season? Have we won one?! We're always miles off it with an early kick off. |
