My take on Whittaker... 22:01 - Jan 3 with 1763 viewsRIPbobby

I think he has simply been recalled as a favour of friends from North America. He will probably go out on loan again somewhere, but not us.

It would be foolish if we bought him this window. Demotivated player forced to sign for rivals does not work.

But come the end of the season you might just see him wander down to Portman Road.

I tend to agree. If he was so happy and keen to stay at Muff, I can’t see him being that motivated to play for one of their biggest promotion challengers. Just doesn’t feel right to me so think he will end up somewhere else probably in the Championship.

Poll: How do you feel about the EADT digital subscription?

Alternatively Swansea run the rule over him, look for bidders and he signs for ITFC post the Plymouth game. Thus he doesn't have to play against his previous team etc etc etc

Edit: fat fingers!!!

It's all conjecture anyway thus is transfer windows. I wouldn't be surprised if Ashton was laffing at all this distraction while working on a deal for Championship striker or an EPL loan.
