Point taken but I would say that the Derby defender seems to have already built himself a solid reputation. Whereas Davis reputation has been built up since his arrival here. Not sure whether I’ve explained that properly. | | | |

I kind of understand / agree. Davis was highly rated but unproven (although apparently pushing for a first team place at Leeds). Whereas Cashin is a fully established league player. Personally don't think it's likely we'll get him, although I think our pulling power is pretty big right now | |

I think that once promoted (hopefully this season) the clubs pulling power will be much much stronger. I think the L1 thing will put off a lot of players but by all accounts Ashton has said that he’s working on deals so who knows. | | | |

I don't think we need a defender.... Fridge, Burgess, Woolfy, JD are more than good enough in this division..With Keogh as well, and
Baggot and Ndaba in reserve, too. I don't think it's lack of ability that's cost us goals. Just pure basics.

Yes, couldn't agree more. However, have you not seen where Derby are in the table? They are getting some momentum now too, they'll have aspirations of their own for promotion, so I doubt very much they would sell one of their best young players and also to a L1 rival. | |
