First time back to PR for a while.... tips? 10:09 - Jan 9 with 1073 views | SaleAway | Hi All, Since I relocated to Manchester in 2003, I've mainly been an away match supporter. I think my last home game was the Norwich derby in 2014 - oddly enough, it didn't enthuse me to rush back! Anyway, I've managed to organise a weekend visit to see a friend in Tiptree, and we're going to the Plymouth match. I have a few questions. 1. Any Tiptree based fans on here? Is it doable by public transport to Ipswich? 2. If we end up driving, where's a decent place to park? 3. is the fan zone worth a visit? 4. Any decent pub recommendations for a pre-match pint? COYB!

First time back to PR for a while.... tips? on 11:09 - Jan 9 with 898 views | bobbyramsey | 1. Taxi/lift to Kelvedon station (about 3 miles) then train straight through to Ipswich. 2. Bus to Colchester, then another bus to North station then train to Ipswich. Option 1. is probably easier but trains that stop at Kelvedon are less frequent than those that stop at Colchester, be aware of this on your return as well. Getting a taxi from Kelvedon station is a ruddy lottery, best to arrange a lift if possible.
