Oh bless him 22:28 - Jan 9 with 2491 views | The_Flashing_Smile | Broadhead seemed so nervous in his iFollow interview. I'm sure his personality will come out when he's done a few more, but if he's ruthless on the pitch who cares. Good luck to the lad (all the above makes me feel well old now).
| Trust the process. Trust Phil. |

Oh bless him on 22:57 - Jan 9 with 2208 views | unstableblue | I thought it was a refreshing change - they can all sound the same after a while. Main thing was he wants to work hard, and critically sounded hungry for goals.

Oh bless him on 23:08 - Jan 9 with 2130 views | Illinoisblue | I fear for him if he has to sing a song in front of the squad as part of his initiation. Kidding aside, we’re all human and all different. It was interesting hearing Cam Humphreys speak at the weekend; genuinely sounded like a manager such was his maturity

Oh bless him on 23:49 - Jan 9 with 1959 views | Kentish_Tractor | So the lad is a bit shy. I'd rather have shy than a prem player dropping down with massively inflated ego. Lets get behind the lad from day one and make him feel happy and welcome. I'm sure working with KMc will give hime a massive confidence boost also. Hopefully he stays fit - if he does looks like we've got a real player on our hands!

I remember Paul Scholes, Wayne Rooney and David Beckhams early interviews. Very sheepish.. Michael Owen, the complete opposite, more like Humphreys. Very comfortable in front of a camera. Everyone's got their comfort zone. Hopefully Broadheads comfort zone is in and around the oppo's box. Have to remember, even though he's not a baby, he's just left the security blanket of Everton, wheres he's been for a number of years. So it's a big step for the young man. Bound to be some trepidation. So, indeed, lets make him feel at home here. Especially if he takes a little time to settle.

I got the feeling watching the interview that is exactly what he intends to do. The highlights clip and his record so far has already spoken volumes.

what I liked to hear was while he was playing for Sunderland, he found our place ingeminating and hostile
