It used to be my branch but they moved it to Corn Hill years ago, so I am likewise surprised it is still open.

Was generally a cash deposit branch for businesses due to its location - with fewer businesses needing to deposit large sums of money so frequently it was always going to happen and as others mention I am surprised it took so Long.

Impressed!!

The only famous person I served when I worked for Lloyds was Steve Ovett. He was out on a training run, popped into the branch for some cash and left his keys in the counter, Lucikly we spotted them a couple of minutes so I legged it uop the road after him and soon caught him up
