Our CM's 12:47 - Feb 9 with 631 viewsSamuelowen88

Just a lunch time musing.
Our prefered CM partnership is obviously Morsy and Evans.

We then also have:
Humphreys
Luongo
Camara
Ball

Are Luongo & Ball the sort of Morsy style replacements, and Humphreys and Camara the Lee style?

Another thought, is could Aluko do a job at CM?

1. Maybe
2. No.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Imo, they are all different. Some slightly and some just unique in what they can do...
Thought Luongo's cameo against Burnley at home, showed he could play the Morsy role..
I see Aluko and Camara as more forward thinking midfielders, that can get us up the pitch. And Ball as more of an anchor man. Breaking up oppo attacks and playing it simple.
Humphreys , imo, is a bit of an all rounder, but more of a play maker than a wrecking ball..
These are only my opinion. I'm sure if pushed out of necessity, then we'd have to play one of them in a less fancied role...
If rumours are true about Evans injury, and Morsy gets suspended. And Loungos exclusion, so far, a bit similar to when Camara was missing before the full extent of his injury became public. It's a little bit concerning, imo... Deja vu from the back end of last season, when we had to patch things up with Bakinson and Carol. Although we've probably got better squad quality to jig things this season.. Both Wolf, and last week Harness have had a little go in CM. And I think Clarke has some limited experience in DM, too.... Guess we'll find out the Luongo situation on Saturday..
