The farce of having 16 groups of 3 teams at the next WC is no more, so no collusions and possible West German v Austria like match fixing.

Still it means 12 groups of 4 teams so in total 104 games, up from 64 games at the last World Cup. Heck that is a lot of duff games.

Also a new Club WC to start in 2025 made of of 32 teams. Europe to get 12 spots, Chelsea and Real Madrid already qualified.

Hey, who knows, back to back promotions and a top 2 finish in the Premier League in 2024/25 and maybe we could qualify too.

Would have rather seen an international version of the FA Cup brought in rather than extend the WC like this. Completely random global draw so Brazil could end up away to the Faroe Islands.
