Probably unsurprisingly given the transfer fees we paid we are 2nd highest in the League.

It also shows that Sam Morsy got a new contract over the summer - don't think that was ever publicised by the club?

Yes - new contract doesn't necessarily mean extension - could just be better terms for the remainder of his existing time.
