This is a good little video from yesterday on 02:40 - Apr 9 with 1242 views | The_Romford_Blue | I love McKenna. There I’ve said it. I love him. The way he talks in interviews is the way of someone who is so sure of what he’s doing. You know he knows what he’s doing and saying. It’s not like Cook or Lambert who seemed to try and just use as many words as they could when they could just say ‘we lost - we were sh*t’. But even away from interviews, he clearly loves doing what he does, celebrates the goals, takes the applause when it’s deserved and gets in there with the crowds to show his own appreciation. Those ten minutes celebrating after the Derby game were the players, management and fans all celebrated together were genuinely my favourite ever as a town fan. It’s one thing us all in the stands clearly loving it but the players and McKenna and his coaching staff all loved it too. They loved celebrating with the fans. It just felt like we were all Ipswich. In that moment it felt like he’d been Town since he was born. He was one of us. That’s what he’s brought to the club asides from the brilliant manager and tactician that he is. He seems a quality bloke as well.

It's as if the soul of the Robson and Burley years is back. It's more than about winning matches, it's something much deeper and longer lasting. My gratitude goes not only to our new investors, management and training teams but to the stalwart fans who have shed tears, bled blue and parted with thousands of pounds and hours of their free time to bring this feeling back to the club. Thank you, all of you.

Are you one of the many fans that had given up on us due to the former owner and decades of sleeping into this league just wondered how many post on here after all the gates shows an extra 10.000 have come from somewhere. Up the Town.
