The result doesn’t tell the story. There’s a good case for being disappointed for not scoring 10. We utterly destroyed them first half. So clinical. 2nd half seemed to die after the 6th, but I don’t think anyone cared.

And you know what....Exeter had more possession in the first half and were actually very decent on the ball.

They were tidy weren’t they. You can see why some teams have struggled against them, but we’re a cut above. They were having the best of it before we scored.

I think it was 5 from our first 5 shots on target. I can’t remember many being off target during that 40 minute spell either. Stupidly good really. If we can carry that through to next season we’ve nothing to fear
