For a number of reasons yesterday's performance was superb and we SHOULD revel and acknowledge it. Dominated them in the opening exchanges, even after their switch we handled a physically different Stoke team. Forced them to run out of ideas early into the second half. A masterstroke of subs from KM and a great, well worked second goal to kill the game. Watching us play is a joy. It's not even the fact it's so far removed from what came before. We play football, we play with no fear, we are brave, we don't stop and every single player plays for the team. As I said a while back, I'm enjoying Test cricket again under Bazball. I don't care if England win or not...its a joy to watch. Town are like that. Under KM it's so clear what he wants us to do and it's bloody great to watch. I'd watch us play this way if we were in the Istmian league or the Champions league...its worth every penny. Loved yesterday and I'm going to enjoy every single moment and relish it. Excellent pressing, relentless energy and won our individual battles all over the pitch. I thought the fans were excellent yesterday too. If we can keep selling out the stadium off the pitch and the team play like they did yesterday on the pitch, PR is going to be a horrible place to come and play. | | | |
