Recall option in January.

Are we hoping for a fee for Edwards even if nominal?

I doubt the door is shut for Edwards. We have an extra year option on him. If he can go to Oxford and rip it up then he could be a big asset for us next season. He has all the tools to do so.

I don't believe he has an option, unless i'm mistaken

I asked about Greg Leigh and got pretty good reviews, he had 15/20 minutes on Saturday and looked impressive. What can we expect from Edwards? An initial glance shows his goal/assist record isn't the best but I don't like to judge a player by that, especially as I'm sure there are plenty of sub appearances dragging the averages down.

Is he good enough to be a regular starter at a team looking for automatic promotion? What sort of player is he?

He's got all the attributes to be a top end Championship player let alone L1. You'll watch him at times and think 'how on earth is this lad playing in L1'. Finding consistency and end product has been his biggest issue here - partly his issue and probably partly us having a fantastic squad at L1 level and not getting a run of games.

Manning is the perfect coach for him. Hopefully he shows some faith and Kyle can show what we all know he is capable of on a regular basis.

He's a top guy as well - will be great for the dressing room.
