My view is that there are a lot of scare stories around NHS data. This from the Open Democracy article sounds sensible, as I'd rather a hospital in, say, Manchester have access to my medical records. "The £480m contract to provide software joining up patient data between different NHS trusts is set to be announced imminently. The project, known as the “federated data platform”, is NHS England’s latest attempt to consolidate patient data into a centralised system." And of course there will clearly be built into the system adequate safeguards so that harvesting data won't be possible. And if it weren't Palantir, it might well be Crapita whose track record is appalling. [Post edited 9 Nov 2023 10:18]
