I think that very many of us still don't realise quite how fast climate collapse is happening, and how the manifold localised events around the world are interconnected, and part of a big picture powered by energy being stored up in the oceans as fast as ever. The majority now understand the problem to some extent, but far, far too many people still feel dissociated from the effects, and carry on with their high emission lifestyles. That will change soon, with or without our acceptance, and our children will have to adapt radically or die. Should we really not be starting to actually change our way of life now? | |
