Do you think we can stop? 09:56 - May 23 with 1070 viewsJazzaboom

Even from the inside reading some of the stuff on this forum, I have to say there is an awful lot of you making us all look laughable.

Nothing has happened, he hasn't gone anywhere, he hasn't said I want to leave. No one really knows if he has been offered an improved deal (even if he has I don't think it would be signed within a day or 2). For all we know it's hype, speculation, bookies, journos and bitter rival fans.

My main worry is that IF Kieran or anyone that knows him are looking at this forum, we are looking like a bunch of morons that are either ungrateful for what he has done or worse still starting to turn on him, I have seen multiple posts that are almost starting to have a pop at him.

It's incredibly frustrating I get that, but lets all take a breath calm down and IF, and only IF MA comes out and says he is off then we can make comment, I hope that people remember that what he has done for us was beyond what most people dreamed of, in the same way we are giving it the biggun to any other team that will listen, this is his reward for achieving this, being linked with big jobs is a big ego boost and hopefully a massive pay rise with us. For all we now he may even go and speak to other clubs, scout out what they are doing and return with other ideas.

I saw a post about when MA interviewed him and spoke about building a team, a club, a foundation etc and if KM won MA round on that interview maybe have some faith that these are still KM beliefs and wishes.
But in the meantime lets not start to have a pop at him when nothing has actually happened.

It has only been five or six days since the announcement that De Zerbi was leaving kicked all this off. Over a weekend, too, at a time when McKenna was away and a huge amount of work is getting underway (transfers and infrastructure) to prepare the club for the Prem.

Nobody has patience any more.

Whilst the general point is correct of course I’m pretty confident that McKenna bases his opinion on the fan base by the 60,000 people at the parade, the 30,000 at Portman Road every other week and the 3,000 travelling away fans.

If he’s the sort to think the opinion of a few people on the internet is to be worried about I can’t imagine he’d be keen to multiply that 1,000 times over with a move to a club whose global fan base is now 99% made up of glory hunting supporters who have never been to Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge and have little to no idea what is going on at the club beyond results and the mad rantings of similar fans on social media.

I'll be deeply disappointed if he leaves, but even if he does, we must remember that he's transformed our situation dramatically for the better. And we should have confidence in Ashton to find the best possible replacement.
