In my local I have the misfortune of Leicester fan, but he was showing me a podcast after the season ended (before playoffs) with 4 Leeds fans chatting. One of them was adamant Leeds was the best team in the league because they beat Leicester & Ipswich twice this season.
One of the others did say but S'ton had beaten them twice so wouldn't that mean S'ton are the best team. No he replied because they finished below Leeds.... ummmm but Leeds finished below Leicester & Ipswich so your arguement is wins and league position have different meaning to match your opinion Leeds were the best team.... ummm
Anyway the same idiot was concerned about beating Norwich, but he was also adamant if they beat Norwich and play S'ton in the final it would be an easy win for Leeds, his opinion was based purely on S'ton have beaten Leeds twice this season and no team ever beats a team 3 times in a season...
