Still no news if he is going to sign a new deal. With his contract up on 30 june surely there will be some news one way or the other this week.
Assume if there is no updates we can continue to negotiate but he would no longer be an itfc player and therefore his pay from the club would cease at that point? |  | | |  |

I cannot believe we will be signing a better keeper this summer, better than Hladky. Vas would be in the top 10 keepers in the Premier League and in the top 3 at playing out from the back.

Don't completely agree superb with his feet, made some fantastic instinct saves, But also let goals in he should have done much better with Norwich and Coventry away just to name a couple and there were others let's trust McKennas judgement with this. Also not the best at commanding his box against corners let's wait and see. | | | |

I massively hope we are signing a better keeper. Important area to upgrade. Hladky will go down a hero in Ipswich history and possibly best keeper with feet we've ever had.
Ultimately his actual goalkeeping isn't fantastic (though he's made some wonderful saves: that save at Cov wow!). Keeping the ball out of the net will be a much busier task next season and we need a fantastic keeper. I hope one of our current keepers stays but I expect we'll have a new number one. If Hladky is our keeper come the first day then so be it. Has earnt a chance of course. | |
