I had the pleasure of speaking to Omari, Sarmiento and Hladky at the end of the season.
Omari cagey on his return, to the point of ruling out.
And I’ve stated on here I thought he wouldn’t return.
This is a HUGE deal if completed. Massive statement of ambition. And I’m very happy to eat my hat… and boy will it taste good.
The guy is Premiership with huge upside - remarkable and unexpected.
As for Hladky and Sarmiento - both looking less likely. But the latter does seem to be smashing it internationally at present.

It’s so huge.
Morsy was our player of season last year and rightly so as he makes us tick, but had we not had Hutchinson last season I’m fairly sure we wouldn’t have finished 2nd. I genuinely believe he was the difference. He has that X factor that all sides need and just got better and better.
His performance v Hull was magnificent and shows what he can do. I think we are going to see even better things. Just a staggering signing for us and if we have him and Ben Johnson in our squad next week we are going to worry a lot of sides that have us as a very for one of the relegation places. We’re going nowhere! We are where we belong and we’re going to let everyone know! |  |
