It is, but it’s noticeable that here we are nudging the end of September and have only played five games. Maybe it’s the difference in standard and so many players settling but it still feels too soon to form any sort of judgement to me.
We are short of points. How many? I hoped we might beat either Fulham or Southampton or even both and have a few more points. But I expected zilch from the other three so we are perhaps a couple of points short.
Not the end of the world. The main thing is that bar MC and the last 30 mins v the scousers performance wise we’ve been in games competing. That for me bodes well. Patience is the key. I think we will get stronger, but we need that first win sooner rather than later, obviously. |  | | |
