Small Town Big Riot on 11:44 - Sep 25 with 1482 views | DecageBruce | I saw the first episode at the weekend and I thought it was good. Have seen a few things by the presenter now and i like his approach. Another I’d recommend is Follow the Leader which is on U&Dave with Jamali Maddix
Small Town Big Riot on 11:56 - Sep 25 with 1410 views | DJR | Kirkby is on the outskirts of Liverpool, and the article also mentions Ireland where similar attitudes are on display. I think that is rather sad because Liverpool has been built on immigration (black, Welsh, Irish, Scots, Viking - the by in Kirkby gives it away), and Ireland is a place where immigration to the rest of the world has been going on for decades. This is worth a watch too - shout out to the mad youtube lady, who God approached personally and told her to go to the border and be very, very unchristian to migrants, refuse them water when asked and shove a camera in their faces whilst getting donations off stoopid 'mercans. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0022mrd/americas-new-female-right

Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing. | Poll: | Raining in IP8 - shall I get the washing in? |

There are two parts on iplayer. Some of the first and second show feature Ireland and the situation on the ground there. The documentary as doco's always do has a position but it is not pushed in the viewer's face and is as balanced as it probably can be. The Kirby botox influencer is a difficult view

it's having a conversation that those in power are not having with the public and this lack of dialogue ( rather than the easy throw away 'just the stupid thugs & racists' remarks) will not help stop another outbreak of riots. Long sentences or not. As one kid in jail said' The big boys got away.." [Post edited 25 Sep 2024 12:11]

There an interesting documentary on RTE player about the situation in Ireland. It's called Inside the Protests. Not sure how easily accessible it is outside of Ireland but we'll worth a watch if accessible
