Worst TV camera position 14:03 - Oct 26 with 536 viewsIllinoisblue

Bristol City seem to have their cameras on a crane half a mile up in the sky. Can’t hear any crowd noise at all.

Probably Mark Ashton’s fault.

I've turned over to Cov v Luton for that very reason.

It's a better game as well.

Luton comically blowing a two goal lead.

Speaking of Luton, their fans forum is by far the worst one I've ever seen and that is including WOTB.

Camera position has nothing to do with the level of crowd noise you can hear, they have microphones placed around the stadium. Not like they’re filming it on an iPhone!

Dunno about you, but I’ve found that ESPN’s broadcasts usually have the sound balance set up so that the microphones around the away end come through disproportionately loud. Always hear the away fans singing but rarely hear the home support, even when you can sort of tell there’s a good atmosphere in the ground.

Filming it on a phone would have made for a better experience! Whatever the setup there is, it’s horrendous.

Literally sounded like two blokes sitting in a shed 100 yards away from the pitch.
