Arsenal's 'Visit Rwanda' sponsorship springs to mind, and there's Fulham's 'MonGOlia' hoardings.
They strike me as a little weird. I've not seen them and been struck by and overwhelming urge to consider Kigali or Ulaanbatar for the next summer holiday for me and Mrs Zx.
Do they work? Or are they a weird way for a semi-related party to channel money into a club?
They're starting to pop up all over the place. Swansea have 'Visit Central Florida' as a sleeve badge. It makes me wonder what they've done to annoy the other areas of Florida.

It would seem to be a very high-cost way for a local authority to try and increase the international exposure of their district.
