I guess this is what being in the Prem feels like...still I'd take this over Accrington Stanley any day of the week (no offence to Accrington).
We're barely laying a glove on them, is it a case of Liverpool just being too good or us either not good enough / too awed by the occasion?

Nearly got 2 of the most difficult teams in the league out of the way entirely. Need to limit the damage from rest of this match and then get the points from the other teams. I doubt any of the bottom 5 sides will get more than 1-2 points from playing the top 5 teams twice. |  |

Yep. And I remember getting outplayed by teams like Accrington and the like at times too.
We are generally competitive in this division, but we - like most teams in the world - are a million miles away from Liverpool and Man City. Just have to accept that and make sure we're ready for Southampton which is a far more important match. |  |

It’s so boring as a spectacle, it’s not even a game. The PL has become a bit yawn for me recently. No jeopardy and no hope of levelling the playing field against established side of this ilk. The very best we could have hoped for was an early Liverpool red for giving away a pen we convert! [Post edited 25 Jan 16:03]

At this stage,I feel mckenna knows he is out of his depth and devoid of ideas..and doesn't know what system to play now, rather than just trying to stop the opposition... our team seems to be just over coached and told what way to play rather than give it a go and take off the shackles | | | |
