Hyping the tie-up (and credit to them), showing goals from past games against us, and getting their supporters quite up for it. It's a big occasion for both clubs with a quarter-final at stake. I mean, I think I was 7 or 8 the last time we got that far and lost to Wolves (who were in the Championship at the time). I remember feeling extremely disappointed we didn't progress.

Although I'd say to play in the Premier League and reach our first FA Cup Quarter Final for 30-something years would be a huge achievement for the club, I can't see us playing our full-strength side and us really going for it tonight, which is a shame. I think we'll rest key players tonight. I don't get the impression that Forest will be taking this as an opportunity to test players who aren't starting regularly, but I may be wrong on that.

I imagine they take any opportunity to rewatch the McGugan free kick to be fair

Forest will not care one iota about going through tonight. The disconnect between a club's social output and their first team is colossal.

If we get an early advantage tonight I think we will cruise. I really think Forest will want to put absolutely everything they have into top four.

Not sure about that. I’m sure their players and fans are eyeing a trip to Wembley as very very possible.

I think some may view this game, the way we've been educated to view cup games in recent years, as a pointless effort and to focus on the league. The FA Cup is a huge deal, I think Forest will rightly be up for it, they'll likely qualify for Europe this season anyway, won't win the league, but with City not at their best this season and Newcastle/Villa also being beatable some days, they can almost certainly get to the final if the progress tonight, whereas we wouldn't likely get past Brighton.

I wouldn't give Newcastle much chance in this year's competition personally

Ahh extreme disappointment is the worst!

We have neither won at Forest nor made the quarters this century, so tonight is a two birds one stone moment that we are going to seize with both hands, feet, and any other body parts necessary.

I’m sure they’ll be very realistic about their chances on both fronts. The fact is they will certainly fancy winning the FA cup from here. Their only real challenge will come from City I’d say. As regards claiming a Top 4 spot, they’ve got to fend off everyone from Villa to Man City who are just behind them. Their eyes will be firmly on a place in the Cup final.
