Interesting. It seems to be for women and girls who want a combination of socialising with having fun playing uncompetitive football, possibly without any prior experience of the game, or any shame in being unskilled. Apart from your link, I could only find an Ipswich Star article (last?) October which says Gals FC was going to start at Northgate School, but I then couldn't find any reference to it existing now.
