Was thinking how we view 1978, we had a terrible league campaign and of course won the first trophy for 15+ years. How do we view 1978, and will Spurs have the same view in years to come about this season?

1978 was the year we won the FA Cup and that is all anyone ever remembers. No doubt will be the same for Spurs fans

Bale said it last night, in ten or fifteen years, they aren't going to remember they finished 17th in the table. Ange even said at Christmas they basically gave up on the league and it's paid off. Great season for them, got rid of the Spurs banter and now they've won a trophy more recently than Arsenal.
