If we're getting frustrated with news (or lack of) 10:04 - Aug 4 with 276 views | baxterbasics | Imagine what KM goes through in these windows. Yes I know, he's paid very well to do it. But one minute players are coming, then they aren't, then they might be again. Other players are off, then they aren't, then someone else is grumpy and wants out. Whatever budget he has to play with is constantly adjusting based on these ins and outs. Man's playing 3D chess 24/7, along with Ashton of course. All whilst having to prepare the players he does have for the season ahead. Just to add to the fun, he can't even comment on anything publicly until news is official. It's big difference compared to playing Football Manager from the comfort of your sofa.

If we're getting frustrated with news (or lack of) on 10:24 - Aug 4 with 163 views | Guthrum | The advantage McKenna possesses is that he actually knows what is happening, the full process in real time. A major part of fan frustration is driven by only getting fragments of the story, intermixed with propaganda, misdirection and sheer speculation, with very little to indicate which bits, if any, are actually true. They are given the run-around by apparently conflicting information. Emotional attachments (and repulsions) are twanged. Perhaps unrealistic expectations of the squad and its needs for the season ahead remain unfulfilled. The known is preffered over the unknown - even if that is based upon lack of data available to insiders.

If we're getting frustrated with news (or lack of) on 10:25 - Aug 4 with 150 views | Jon_456 | I think as fans we over complicate it with the brief snippets of info we get. We get told Hackney is travelling to Suffolk and everyone assumes he’s agreed everything and he’ll be an Ipswich player within a few hours. Chances are we’ve been having discussions from the back end of last season and now we had a bid accepted, he’s travelled down to have further conversations and take a look around. It sounds like he’s chosen to stay for now but I don’t think McKenna would been gullible enough to think any player is signing just because we’ve had an offer accepted.
