Think so but for now I can see us persisting with Philogene and Clarke and simply try to play them into form. If MacAteer can prove himself with good sub appearances he could force his way in, a bit like Hutchinson did.

I think we'll have enough quality to win a lot of home games. Away performances probably won't be pretty on the whole, but they weren't in 23/24 either. We won a lot of scrappy games 1-0 that year. Question is whether we can muster enough togetherness to scrap, score the odd goal and see games out. |  |

Experimenting with Clarke and Jaden on the right has been exactly that and to cover lack of fit players. Ogbene and McAteer will definitely now keep the RW, it’s possible we see either of Clarke or Jaden swap to that side to mix things or cover injuries otherwise they will now move to the left side. KMcK more or less said that in post match comments. He wants pace and power on the RW role. | |

I think that makes sense. I would be looking at Ogbene / McAteer on the right and Clarke / JP on the left, I think that gives us a better balance.
Also where Clarke is concerned, a few appearances off the bench might just help him right now. Coming on against a tiring defense, particularly at Portman Road, he could get some joy which would help boost his confidence and get the support back on his side. |  | | |
