Incredible that a professional footballer can't trust himself to take a shot from 12 yards out on his weaker foot, and would rather go all the way around the ball so he can take it on his left.
Not really a criticism of Leif, a lot of players would have done the same. It does often seem to be the left footers that are the most one footed though, or is that a misconception?
It seems to be a trait of modern football generally. Unless they have the perfect chance to shoot they seem to be encouraged to play it safe and wait for the perfect chance to come. Problems start when the perfect chance doesn't present itself...
