Back in the day I used to watch Coronation Street.

Almost every customer in the Rovers Return asked for one of Betty’s Hotpots. Where on earth did she cook them? Surly a domestic oven wouldn’t have been able to cope with that many hotpots and I don’t seem to recall there being Rovers Return having a larger commercial kitchen on site.

So where did she cook them?

Was it definitely one of her hotpots they asked for? If so, it sounds like they were individual and possibly made in batches in her home kitchen.
