Having read the beautiful tribute to Peter Over from Conor Chaplin there is no doubt that Conor bleeds blue and white and should continue to have an association with the club in the way Matt Holland has.

He can still contribute to our season and once his playing career is over there should be a role for him in the club.

Chaplin speaks very well and has done a great job for the club. However, he is 28 so isn't looking to retire any time soon. Whilst he could be a handy back-up at 10 for this season, he isn't going to be what we are looking for if we are in the Premier League. I would expect us to be getting better in unless we are unable to and will then wait until the summer.
