The club has suffered serious reputational damage, and the pitch side photo of Farage holding up a town shirt will haunt us for many years to come.

I believe the damage could be somewhat repaired, if the club categorically oppose the views expressed in the lette written by Braverman to the FA, if and when they decide to issue a further statement.

Fair play to Suella, she's shown that Reform will recruit all manner of dimwitted grifting boors, regardless of origin. A walking triumph for inclusion policies.

I;d like to see them do something like offer to donate the money from the fee charged to Moscow Nige for use of facilities to either the RNLI, Hope Not Hate or a local LGBTQ charity, by way of apology.

The club's mention of inclusion in its statement seems very hollow when a party which does not have support inclusion in football has at the top of its Twitter account a photo of Farage holding up an Ipswich Town shirt with Farage 10 on the back in front of a board showing the club's sponsors.
