KMcK is currently 7th in the line of longest serving Town managers.
By the time the season starts he will have moved up to 6th (overtaking John Lyall) and before Christmas will be 5th. (Bobby Fergerson).
Before him then are
Mick McCarthy (next summer 2027)
Sir Alf Ramsey and George Burley (both another 2 years, 2029)
Sir Bobby Robson is of course many years beyond that.
And finally Scott Duncan took us through the war and was manager for a total of 18 years.
I would like to see him make more deep inroads into this list.
