Fifty six years a regular. Seen some great Town teams in that time. European glory, FA Cup, Play off win and Lyall’s promotion winning team…but I’ve never been happier than seeing McKenna and the team getting three promotions. One simple reason. My son recently turned 26, he’s been coming with me for 21 of his years and seeing the joy on his face and sharing it with him these last five years has been amazing after seeing so many seasons of dross.

Similar for me. Two sons 19 and 16 who by default of me taking them to games are Town fans living in Yorkshire. The last five years finally gave them something to enjoy and celebrate, after years of rubbish. |  | | |
