| Are The First Few Fixtures Set In Stone? on 00:56 - Jun 24 with 1180 views | vinceg | Would only move for TV but Sky and TNT have so far only decided on the fixtures they are showing for the opening weekend as follows: Friday 21 August Arsenal vs Coventry City – 8pm Saturday 22 August Hull v Man Utd - 12:30 pm (TNT) Brentford vs Tottenham Hotspur – 5:30pm Sunday 23 August Manchester City vs AFC Bournemouth – 2pm Brighton & Hove Albion vs Aston Villa – 2pm Newcastle United vs Liverpool – 4:30pm Monday 24 August Fulham vs Chelsea – 8pm Don't suppose it will be too long before the second week's televised fixtures are decided upon. However I would mention that the weekend of the Man Utd away game is Pride weekend in Manchester so hotels are already in short supply or pretty expensive. Worth looking outside Manchester on a train route. In our last Prem season Man C was on Pride weekend, so I stayed in Glossop which is 30 mins into Manchester on the train. Also highly recommend Preston, cracking selection of pubs and about 45 mins on the train to Manchester, although some do it as quick as 25 mins. | | | |

If it’s moved it’ll be because it’s on TV over here. Watch it be the Monday night ffs.

Thank you so much for all the replies, appreciate it 👍🏾 If I buy the train tickets now, they are very cheap, but the risk is that the game will move. Will have to wait until the middle of July...

Yeah I’ve been looking at train prices, but not worth buying until it’s confirmed. Annoying. They could have easily announced the first month of TV fixtures at the same time as the release really.

I agree...the first month would have been great...by the time the dates are confirmed, the train price will have doubled

I have a night shift on the Saturday so hoping it gets moved from the Saturday regardless. We've got a cancelable premier inn booked for the Thursday and Friday night in the hope the game is moved. £200 for two nights on Salford Quays. I hadn't thought about it moving the other way and being the Sunday or Monday 😒
