I was having a row with my old man last night in a dream, (he passed away in 2011), and suddenly out loud said, "you keep your fking nose out", loud enough that I woke myself up.

Now Mrs Chelters thinks I was talking to her.

I used to. Years ago I hung my jacket in the bedroom, and one night I woke the wife up punching the jacket and shouting at it thinking we were being burgled.

I like dreaming about my old man who passed in 2004. Happens a couple of times a year and I always feel it’s like I’ve spent time with him even though it’s a dream, because it feels so real at the time. Always wake up in a great mood after one of those dreams.

Sometimes I think about the frothing lunatics I’ve put on ignore, who will have kept replying to me again and again, but I don’t even realise they exist.

Genuinely glad for anyone who had a great relationship with their Dad.
My experience was somewhat different, but as a result I try that much harder with my boy I think.

No bother. Neither of them were going to win parent of the year, but I've moved on from it.

Like I said, genuinely pleased for you that you had a relationship with your old man that leaves you looking forward to dreaming about him, I think it's lovely.
