2 rows lost at the front of the North 09:58 - Aug 10 with 1160 views

Now that the close up pictures of the redeveloped North are out. You can see that 2 rows of seating have been lost at the front. It is going to make for better viewing if you are a wheel chair user and probably more spaces. But we can't have created many more seats, which was supposed to be the plan. Maybe there is one full row going in, in front of the lower barriers.

The conversion to safe standing wasn’t ever going to increase capacity significantly, maybe by just a few dozen.

I haven't seen the photos you mention but I think the wheelchair spaces are moving from the lower north and therefore the rows can go all the way across to make a full stand of general admission seats. Previously the wheelchair spaces stopped that as a) they were there and b) some seats had to be flagged off as if people stood there the people in the the disabled section shouldn't see.

Not sure what that would mean numbers wise but probably a few hundred I would guess.

Wheel chair places are going to be all the way along the front of the stand. Less the area directly behind the goal.
