VAR is failing just as badly this season as ever. The review will make up some justification, as will that muppet on refwatch.

However, he was already going down (from the first stumble, not in the sense of a dive) and the replays shown on the telly weren't entirely clear how much contact, if any, was made the second time. Given there has to be evidence to overturn the Ref's decision, it wasn't clear enough. Taken together. that was why it wasn't given.
