I am looking to get match day hospitality for four people at the Man City game next year and would be interested in any feedback, advice or suggestions from people who have experienced it at Portman Road.
Many thanks

It all depends on what you want, and who's paying for it.

A group of us did the Three Lions Lounge for the QPR game last season, as a bolt-on to our season tickets. I think it was about £70 a head, and just about felt like value at that price. I definitely wouldn't want to pay the £135-odd that it cost at full price at the time, and definitely not whatever the price has inflated to this season.

I also did the Directors' Box as a Christmas present for my dad, for the Blackpool FA Cup game. That was £100 a head and was great value but, again, I'm not sure I'd have wanted to pay the usual £400-odd for it.

From what I've heard, particularly at the 'lower' tiers, some of the bundled seats leave a lot to be desired in terms of view.

Not a prophet, or a stone-age man; just a mortal with potential of a superman.

Thanks for your comments.

Two of us are season ticket holder and the other two are City fans who paid for our hospitality a few weeks back. Me and my mate will be paying for the whole thing so I don't want to go too mad.
Interesting what you said about the cup game as a few of us discussed doing it for a fairly low profile game that wouldn't cost a fortune.

I might be wrong, but I thought they no-longer let you add on to your existing season ticket, due to demand?

Cheapest you’ll have a shot of getting is around 250 for R block and three lions hospitality I think. Anything better than that and you’ll be looking at circa 400 a head. Even those hall of fame seats with lower Cobbold views are around £300 now.
