I think in this case it’s pretty immaterial unless he plays anyone other than Tommy Smith, who I assume is still recovering from injury? If he uses Spence, Knudsen or Iorfa, they will know that their default position under MM is not Centre-back and if he sprang a surprise and picked Luke Woolfenden, the boy would be looking to set down a marker for the future, nothing more. |  | | |
