Nice doubles victory over the top seeds, there really is a world of difference between the top singles and top doubles players.
This is great news as well:

He's actually got a metal hip now, guess we will see if that's enough to get back to the upper levels of the singles game. I hope so.

I'd be surprised if he beats any Top 10 opposition at Wimbledon in the singles, but hope he gets back to his best.

He's not playing singles at Wimbledon this year, only doubles - it's too early on his comeback.

Yes, he will play doubles and possibly mixed doubles.
I don't think he's retired, if the hip is working he will try and come back.
