Another proven goalscorer- can't just depend on Norwood - e.g. he might get injured!
My preference is Tom Eaves available as out of contract. Scored 20+ goals in League 1 last season. Tall big striker so is contrast to bustling goalscorer that is Norwood and the pace of Jackson. He can allow change of style (Plan B) if needed and help with defending of corners. We are quite a small side so some more bulk is needed.
Season before last we had 4 goalscorers (Waghorn, Mcgoldrick, Garner, Celina) who scored nearly 50 goals between them. Still not adequately replaced them.
As a added extra in a perfect world (!) I would like a flair player on loan in the mold of Fraser, Lawrence, Celina, J Williams - someone who could create or score something from nothing whose skill level is too good for us apart from needing to get experience at a lower level.
If can score more goals then defence is not under such pressure. Also hopefully winning games will increase confidence. Nsiala and Emmanuel are proven in League 1. I think Kenlock is a good talent and will develop if in team. Chambers still good enough for League 1. More cover needed at CB and LB. |  |
