Reminds me of life in Lagos 08:39 - Mar 20 with 617 viewsbluelagos

The problems with the food shortages remind me of life as an expat in West Africa. You would go shopping and if you saw Marmite or whatever you wanted, you'd grab a couple, knowing next week it might be unavailable for a few weeks.

You'd also have to visit 2 or 3 shops to get what you needed for the week.

Not all bad news, did my weekly shop earlier and overheard the Tesco staff saying it wasnt as bad as yesterday. Also, they are limiting to 3 items and enforcing it at the tills. Loads of fresh fruit and veg, only really the bog roll that was bare...

I'm told by a few people not much isolating going on either as the people push in front of each other to get the items they want and standing near each other in the queue etc etc

Tesco have placed black and yellow tape on the floor by the tills and have a queue watcher who is diligently telling anyone who over steps the black and yellow tape to get back behind. #keepingussafe #dontstepoverthetape
