I guess this is the problem with a free market, economies are now so intertwined it means action isn’t as straight forward as it should be.

100% agree. The country is run by a totalitarian figure who wants to be idolised like Mao. The humanitarian rights abuses of Muslim Uighurs came out last year from a Chinese mission (ironically a Christian mission, but that's another story - religion is effectively banned throughout China now). It's effectively like 1930s Central Europe now. Another article on the building of re-education camps here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-sh/China_hidden_camps
Really is time to start boycotting anything under Chinese State ownership.

Agree that only some form of international coordinated action is going to have any effect at all. It's disgusting what is happening there.

On a slight tangent but still relevant, there are stories coming out of China that the party aren't all happy with how Xi has handling a lot of things. They spent decades moving closer to the rest of the worlds and he's destroying all that. Apparently some figures have even resigned from the party. Not sure it will have any effect and I only heard it this week so I've not looked into it further.

The only people that can free themselves from such tyranny are the people themselves united at the end of the day so let’s hope the general population are bubbing.

I think the UK could learn a lot from Belarus RN.
