he would be told to reconsider his position at the club. If Evans thinks that's acceptable and if there is a way back from this, then he himself is also deluded. The tone and rudeness of that spiel should be enough to sack him for unprofessional behaviour alone.

I think the only way Evans will get rid of Lambert is a shockingly bad run of results of that looks like we'll be in relegation trouble. As long as we are staying in contact with the Top 6 places then he is safe. Perhaps even mid table will be acceptable for ME again.

ME himself is the subject of a lot of negativity from the fanbase so I'm sure he sides with Lambert on this.

Long and short - we're stuck with him unless he really screws up
