Is the protection afforded having been an asymptomatic carrier of the virus equal to, better than or worse than that offered by the vaccine in terms of efficacy and longevity or is it not known?

The Oxford vaccine Director said on R4 this morning that generally the antibody response is related to the how bad the symptoms experienced by the individual are. So someone who suffers badly will generally generate a larger immune response. Logically I’d therefore think those without symptoms would generate little in the way of antibody response.
